We were approached by local Corian dealers and had a small competition in our office to design a coffee table for our lounge area. The table had to be made entirely from Corian material as well as have integrated Charging Surface technology which allows to charge your phone wirelessly by simply putting it on the table. The winning proposal would then be made into an actual table and gifted to our office.
I recreated our office lounge corner and designed a minimalist coffee table. The lounge area is full of mid-century furniture, books and other decorative elements so I tried to compliment the existing details with natural and light type of Corian table. I didn’t win the contest but it was a fun experiment and a nice break from every-day work.
